Commissioning an item to meet your requirements is an enjoyable experience.

The collaboration between ourselves allows you to help design a bespoke piece of work providing you with an artisan item that meets your requirements, you have the pleasure of
anticipation waiting for the design to be realised.

After the initial contact and brief discussion on the proposal, the process of commissioning work is broadly as follows:

I arrange to meet with you at the site you have chosen to assess the proposed location of the intended work. The design process itself is influenced not only by the preferences and ideas of you the client but also by the location and surroundings where the work is to be sited. The
end goal being to arrive with a design fitting to your needs and the environment in which the work will reside. For smaller unfixed items or knives the process is either via telephone or at a mutually convenient location.

We discuss your budget and I draw the design options and possibly produce some samples if appropriate. At this point we will also discuss any costs
that may relate to design and sample production.

Once we have agreed upon design, costs, rough time scale and installation requirements. I will request a deposit. This is followed by a stage payment and then the final payment on completion of the work.
